Steve Sponseller has 15 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and small- to medium-sized businesses to identify, develop and protect Intellectual Property assets. Steve supports businesses in developing and implementing a strategic plan to leverage innovations and Intellectual Property.

Steve’s professional experience includes:

* Implementing and managing corporate Intellectual Property programs
* Evaluating and developing Intellectual Property portfolios
* Preparing and prosecuting several hundred patent applications
* Preparing and negotiating license agreements and related contracts
* Performing due diligence studies
* Preparing infringement opinions and validity opinions
* Training employees to identify and document innovations
* Coordinating the preparation of patent and trademark applications by outside service providers

Steve has worked as a design engineer for two technology-based start-up companies. He is also a Registered Patent Attorney registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
